DECARBON
Various human activities require the use of energy and emit greenhouse in the process. The earth is self-regulating,absorbing the carbon dioxide we emit and balancing it out. But the global warming crisis calls for a more active, hands-on response. Carbon neutrality is just that: removing and absorbing as much carbon dioxide as we emit, so that our actual emissions are 'zero', which is called 'net zero'.
In 2018, the UN IPCC announced in a special report that to prevent disasters caused by climate change, the global temperature increase must be limited to 1.5℃ relative to pre-industrial global temperatures.
Decarbon activity responds to climate change and implements a global decarbonization master plan that integrates ITMOs and business development rights, global infrastructure, and climate technology to fulfill RE100.
Decarbon was born with the common goal of decarbonizing and reducing greenhouse gases in an era of energy transition driven by the climate crisis. The project's Phase 2 target of a 10 MW hydropower plant will generate approaximately 87,600 MW of annual electricity and 41,056 tCO-2eq of annual GHG reductions.
We are transparent about our MRV (Monitoring, Reporting and Verification) process and our emissions certification process, including the UNFCCC, to enhance credibility.
